Jason Lykins

Jason Lykins just completed his first year as Head Coach for the men's basketball team here at Central.  We are very excited to have him back for a second year, as he continues to work in Student Services and in coaching our young men.  

Coach Lykins came to CCCB after three-years of service as senior minister for the Sciotoville Christian Church near Portsmouth, OH.  Prior to taking the position Sciotoville, Jason served as an associate evangelist at the Church of Christ at Mountain View in Winchester, Virginia. While in Winchester he spent seven years in coaching positions at Mountain View Christian Academy. Three of those years were spent as the girl’s varsity basketball coach and three as the boy’s varsity basketball coach.

Coach Lykins brings with him the attitude that every member of the body of Christ is called to use their talents and abilities to minister to others. Basketball is a very unique avenue of ministry that he plans to use in helping to develop young Christian men for a future of ministry service.

Jason is married to Tracie Crawford Lykins and they have four children. Andrew, Mason, Katie, and Titus, all of which will be very involved with him as he ministers here at Central.
