Anne Menear is demoting herself to assistant coach after finishing her fifth season as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Central Christian College of the Bible.

Under Menear, the women captured two third-place finish in the Midwest Christian College Conference with a 5-5 mark in 2006-7.  The Lady Saints finished the 2009-2010 season with an 8-14 record overall and were honored to take a trip to the ACCA National Tournament in Oklahoma City, where they placed 9th. 

Prior to coming to Central, Menear served at Mountain View Christian Academy in Winchester, Virginia, for nine years. She taught fifth grade for several years before moving up to junior high and high school English. Additional responsibilities in Virginia included being the Supervisor of Curriculum and Personnel, and as Middle School Administrator (assistant principal).

While there, Menear also assisted the school in building it's athletic program. She spent one season as an assistant volleyball coach, six seasons as the softball coach, two years as the junior high basketball assistant coach, and two years as the high school girls basketball assistant coach.

In addition to her duties as Instructor of English, Coach Menear also serves as Athletic Director, replacing William Walton in 2006 who stepped down after 25 years of service as AD.  Beginning in the 2011 fall season, Menear will be assistant women's basketball coach under Coach DeRonte Polite.  This is her 6th year as Instructor at CCCB, and her 5th year as Athletic Director.  This will be her 2nd year as the head women's volleyball coach.
