Conference Underway

The Saints hit the court this past weekend, facing Grace University and Nebraska Christian College, in two Midwest Christian College Conference games here in Ferneau Center.  The Saints put forth an impressive effort against the Royals of Grace , losing 55-75, but putting up much more of a fight that the visiting team anticipated.  Team captain, Reggie Evans put 23 points on the board, while Nick Ehlts added 11.  

Central then pulled in a much needed win, beating the Parsons of Nebraska Christian 80-68. Evans again served as leading scorer for the Saints, racking up 31 points for the Saints and 10 boards.  He also went 9 for 9 from the free throw line.  Nick Ehlts, playing against his former college teammates, scored 13 and pulled in 12 rebounds. Freshman, Matthew Peter, added 13 points and 5 rebounds.  

The Saints are heading to Kansas this weekend for a pair of conference games with Barclay of Haviland and Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, KS.
